History


2001:Suzhou General Printing House Co., Ltd. (SGPHC) was established after restructuring from a state-owned enterprise to a private limited liability company.


2003:
       The company was relocated to Suzhou Industrial Park. Investment in “digital printing and packaging production line", adopting German Manroland printing machine groups, PECOM system, etc., and developed a digital and  intelligent package manufacturing workflow.

         The company was positioned among China's top 100 printing enterprises.


2005:Investment in "fine packaging printing production line", and introduced Roland printing machines from Germany and BOBST post-press equipment from Switzerland.


2007:
      A dedicated R&D center was established, which is committed to researching the latest process technology and packaging materials, and providing customers with personalized and complete packaging solutions.
      The company was designated as a national key enterprise for cultural export.


2009:Further investment in "fine packaging printing production line", and introduced a number of advanced printing machines from Roland.


2011:
      The R&D center was designated as "Jiangsu Green Printing Engineering Technology Research Center".

      The Company was among the first printing enterprises to receive China Environmental Labeling Product Certification.


2012:The Company was among the first printing enterprises to receive national printing demonstration enterprises.


2013:Investment in "green high-precision printing, packaging and printing production line", introduced the German Roland eight-color plus double glazing line cold stamping UV printing machine, and installed the connected "Eagle Eye" inspection system.


2014:The R&D building within the Suzhou Intelligent Printing Park (Jiangsu Green Printing Engineering Technology Research Center) was completed and put into use.

2015:
        Investment in "exquisite packaging and export pop-up book printing production line", and introduced Japan's Komori positive 6 reverse 1 plus light HUV printing machine equipped with "Eagle Eye" inspection system.
        Officially implement green printing.


2016:Promoted cleaner production and implemented the "waste liquid and VOC waste gas treatment transformation project". This pioneering move ensured the complete and environmentally sound treatment and discharge of all waste gas and liquid.


2017:Investment in "high-quality packaging green intelligent printing production line",  and  introduced the German Roland folio seven-color plus double glazing UV offset printing machine equipped with "Eagle Eye" inspection system, and Diana high-speed automatic folder gluing and packaging production line, etc.


2018:
        Investment in "high-efficiency thin paper printing production line", and introduced a number of thin paper printing equipment from Roland and Komori.
        ERP intelligent production management systems was achieved.


2021:Further investment in "high-quality packaging green intelligent printing production line", and introduced German Roland high-speed folio nine-color plus light offset printing machine, equipped with "Eagle Eye" inspection system, and Evergreen intelligent double-unit hot stamping machine, etc.


2022Established the first self-adhesive production line and automatic product inspection machines to ensure product quality and quantity accuracy;


2023:
        Investment in "intelligent book printing production line" to upgrade the book printing system by introducing Komori commercial rotary printing machine, perfect binding linkage line, and automatic robots to complete the packaging and bundling work.

       Embraced sustainability through the full use of wash-free CTP plates and alcohol-free printing technologies, effectively controlling pollutants at source.


2024:
     Investment in "high-fidelity and high-precision green intelligent printing production line", introduced Komori seven-color plus light full UV double delivery offset press, and equipped with "Eagle Eye" inspection system.
        Implemented the "green, low-carbon, clean and energy-saving technology transformation project", established clean workshops in SGPHC and built a photovoltaic power generation system.


Future:
Guided by the concept of green and sustainable development, SGPHC will continue to embrace transformation towards intelligent and digital manufacturing.
